Two sedation routes for people who cannot sit through the chair

On the Plateau-Mont-Royal, dental anxiety is treated as clinical data, not as a personality trait. Technology

Digital radiography, cone beam imaging and an intraoral camera; the digital chart opens at the first appointments. The Epic X diode laser is used for whitening and soft-tissue lesions. Asepsis is the stated first concern, with protocols checked regularly. Acute pain, swelling or bleeding: the team aims to see you within 24 hours.

The team

Five generalists with distinct profiles. Dr Pierre Diamond (Université de Montréal, 1987) — cosmetic work and endodontics under the microscope. Dr Michael Pasoff (DMD, McGill) — implantology, surgery and intravenous sedation; a nurse by first training, with a background in emergency and pediatric intensive care. Dr Stéphanie Guay (DMD, McGill) — advanced implantology, a fellowship in implant surgery, teaching appointment at McGill. Dr Aya Endo (Université de Montréal, 2004). Dr Nathaniel Weinstein — minimally invasive dentistry. The founder, Dr Alain Leduc, trained under Dr Carl Misch, retired in 2024.
